CHRIST HAS RISEN HALLELUJAH!!!
The tomb is empty... we now have a High Priest acquainted with our afflictions, who bore all our sin and sorrow although He never knew sin or sorrow. He is our Redeemer, our King and our Savior! Praise be to God for sending His Righteous One, His Anointed One to save us from the evil one, from ourselves and from hell, which has been prepared for the devil and his angels and praise be to His Son Jesus Christ!

Bored....
Sitting here doing nothing and thinking about everything. What's it all for...? Do we just exist then die or is there a bigger picture/meaning? Time is like a vapor... it is here and gone in the blink of an eye.

Good?
Why do we attribute the word "good" to everything in life that we like? He/She is a "good" person... that was a "good" movie... that's a "good" song... etc etc...Here are the definitions of the word "good"...
Dictionary.com... good[good]
adjective
1.
MORALLY excellent; virtuous; righteous; pious: a good man.
Merriam-Webster
a : something that is good
b (1) : something conforming to the MORAL order of the universe (2) : praiseworthy character : goodness
good/go͝od/
Noun:
That which is MORALLY right; righteousness.
"Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone." -Luke 18:19 (NASB)
If Jesus is God, why would He say this...? Because the Son is subservient to the Father and does His will through the Holy Spirit. He (Jesus) does nothing on His own but is given authority over all things by His Father in Heaven through the Holy Spirit. So Jesus is correct when He challenges the rich young ruler when He asks “Why do you call Me good?"

The Red Lizard of Lust
Editor’s note: C.S. Lewis wrote The Great Divorce to demonstrate the differences between Hell and Heaven. The people in this story travel to the bright borders of Heaven, and as such, appear as ghosts as they near it. This excerpt metaphorically and poignantly shows how challenging it can be for some people to let go of lust, but it also shows how we are strengthened and advanced once we muster the courage to finally do so.
“I don’t know about all, Sir,” said I. “Am I right in thinking that the lizard really did turn into a Horse?”Monday, August 13, 2012

Do you call yourself "Christian"?
ust as We are one; 23 I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me." again emphasis mine -John 17:22-23. Why would Jesus emphasize unity and oneness SO much in one prayer before His death if it were not significant?! Christians in persecuted nations such as Iran and North Korea or China do not fight about doctrine they LIVE Christianity! We ought to be ASHAMED and DISGUSTED with ourselves we are utterly sinful and have become the Pharisees and Sadducees of Jesus' day, full of hypocrisy!!!! SHAME on us and God help us!

God’s Purposes in Difficult Times
If we could design an ideal life, most of us would skip over times of hardship. But Scripture teaches us that God has purpose in the storms of life.
Cleansing. When problems press in on us, ungodly attitudes and habits tend to surface. Impatient behavior, a quick temper, or reliance on something or someone other than God may become
apparent. In a crisis, the bad habits we had ignored can show up in ways too obvious to overlook. The Holy Spirit will use tough times to smooth away our rough edges and produce the fruit of the Spirit in us (Gal. 5:22-23).
Companionship. When life is good, we may spend less time with the Lord and start taking our relationship with Him for granted. We may even drift off His chosen path. Crises help us see our need for Him as well as our inability to help ourselves. Hard times bring us to our knees in prayer and drive us to seek opportunities for His companionship.
Our heavenly Father’s desire is for us to develop Christ-like character and grow in intimacy with Him. He wants us to experience the richness of His love and wholeheartedly show Him devotion. He will use trials and difficulties to accomplish His good purposes for us.

Islamic Extremist vs. Christian hypocrites

Isn't it amazing how the world makes excuses for Islam when it comes to extremist, saying that Islam is a peaceful religion and the extremist do not represent the majority of Islam (even though a quick study of the Koran shows the religion's foundation is steeped in violence, in particular toward the infidel, which by the way is anyone that does not submit to Islam). However, when it comes to Christianity the world judges the entire faith by a few hypocrites. Hmmmm... maybe there's something to that.

The Meaning of Christmas
The ACLU has made it its mission to destroy any public display of symbols of Christianity. People have forgotten that the God that made every thing known and unknown, the stars we look at at night, the sun that warms us and every wonderful thing in this world decided to lower Himself and come here as a man for the sole purpose to die at the hands of His own creation so that His perfect justice could be satisfied. His birth in a manger gave all of humanity hope... Hope that we could have a relationship with Him. "He" is the reason for this season we celebrate. He is the Perfect Gift.
So, instead of being so self consumed by what we receive, why not find those people that are the broken, the least, and the last and do something kind for them? Not for our self interest or glory but to bring glory to the Son of God. He came to serve, so let's take His example and serve others this season. Then, lets not stop on the 26th of December but lets do it every day for the next year. Let's see how many lives we can impact and change. Are you up to the challenge?

Meaning of the word "martyr"
Based on the meaning of the word "martyr", which makes more sense... a person who through violent means tries to impose their religious ideology on people and in doing so dies in the process, or a person who through care and compassion tells others of the "truth" of their faith in the one and only true God, who is perfectly merciful and at the same time is perfect justice?
Which makes more sense... a person who believes in a god that says that if a person doesn't submit to the will of said god, then it is OK to KILL the infidel... or a God who loves the world so much that He is willing to give His Son as a ransom for sins and evil He never committed so that those that accept this Precious Gift will find communion, peace, and a relationship with Him? See here what Isaiah 53:10 says about God the Father and His Holy Anointed Son... "But the LORD was pleased
to crush Him, putting Him to grief". Now read the scripture in context to show the love of God for us...
Isaiah 53
1Who has believed our message?
And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
2For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot,
And like a root out of parched ground;
He has no stately form or majesty
That we should look upon Him,
Nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him.
3He was despised and forsaken of men,
A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief;
And like one from whom men hide their face
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
4Surely our griefs He Himself bore,
And our sorrows He carried;
Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten of God, and afflicted.
5But He was pierced through for our transgressions,
He was crushed for our iniquities;
The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him,
And by His scourging we are healed.
6All of us like sheep have gone astray,
Each of us has turned to his own way;
But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all
To fall on Him.
7He was oppressed and He was afflicted,
Yet He did not open His mouth;
Like a lamb that is led to slaughter,
And like a sheep that is silent before its shearers,
So He did not open His mouth.
8By oppression and judgment He was taken away;
And as for His generation, who considered
That He was cut off out of the land of the living
For the transgression of my people, to whom the stroke was due?
9His grave was assigned with wicked men,
Yet He was with a rich man in His death,
Because He had done no violence,
Nor was there any deceit in His mouth.
10But the LORD was pleased
To crush Him, putting Him to grief;
If He would render Himself as a guilt offering,
He will see His offspring,
He will prolong His days,
And the good pleasure of the LORD will prosper in His hand.
11As a result of the anguish of His soul,
He will see it and be satisfied;
By His knowledge the Righteous One,
My Servant, will justify the many,
As He will bear their iniquities.
12Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great,
And He will divide the booty with the strong;
Because He poured out Himself to death,
And was numbered with the transgressors;
Yet He Himself bore the sin of many,
And interceded for the transgressors.
The sad thing is most people do not realize they are slaves... driven by the things of this world and flesh. We are driven by money, cars, clothes, vacations, homes, careers, relationships, sex, alcohol, drugs, music and the list goes on and on. We are slaves but think we are free. Freedom only comes from surrendering to a new Master. That Master is Jesus Christ. He promises that if we submit to Him and His will, He will free us and call us friends.
If we do not submit to His will then the wrath of God abides on us. The choice is ours. By giving us this choice God has shown us His Perfect Love. Think of it this way... if you could force someone to love you... would you? That would not be true love... would it? God's love is so much more than even this example because He gave us a conscience, con means with and science means knowledge. So we were born with knowledge of right and wrong. He has given us a light within us. Yet we invariably choose wrong every time. So He has given His son as His final effort to show us His love for us. Why? because He doesn't want any of us to die the eternal death in Hell. A place He created for Lucifer and his angels. But, if we do not choose His Perfect Sacrifice Jesus Christ but rather, to live in our sins and the things this world has to offer then we are choosing to take on the punishment for our own sins. so how can anyone say God is unjust or uncaring?
So, in one instance you have an ideology that boasts a god that condones murder, is wishy washy in that the only sure way to paradise is through murdering so called infidels and in doing so die yourself. In the other instance you have the true God that loves with such a Perfect Love that He will not force you to love Him but wants you to love Him from your heart, and He will allow you to make that choice based on what He has done and what He has to offer you against what the world, the flesh and the devil have to offer you.
How can anyone call a murdering persecuting religious extremist a martyr? A true martyr will never force his/her faith on you... he/she will only share the Truth with you and in doing so will be persecuted by those that are offended by that message.

Advisor to Pres. Woodrow Wilson had this to say!
“[Very] soon, every American will be required to register their biological property in a National system designed to keep track of the people and that will operate under the ancient system of pledging. By such methodology, we can compel people to submit to our agenda, which will affect our security as a chargeback for our fiat paper currency. Every American will be forced to register or suffer not being able to work and earn a living. They will be our chattel, and we will hold the security interest over them forever, by operation of the law merchant under the scheme of secured transactions. Americans, by unknowingly or unwittingly delivering the bills of lading to us will be rendered bankrupt and insolvent, forever to remain economic slaves through taxation, secured by their pledges. They will be stripped of their rights and given a commercial value designed to make us a profit and they will be non the wiser, for not one man in a million could ever figure our plans and, if by accident one or two would figure it out, we have in our arsenal plausible deniability. After all, this is the only logical way to fund government, by floating liens and debt to the registrants in the form of benefits and privileges. This will inevitably reap to us huge profits beyond our wildest expectations and leave every American a contributor or to this fraud which we will call “Social Insurance.” Without realizing it, every American will insure us for any loss we may incur and in this manner; every American will unknowingly be our servant, however begrudgingly. The people will become helpless and without any hope for their redemption and, we will employ the high office of the President of our dummy corporation to foment this plot against America.”
Woodrow Wilson is credited with starting the League of Nations, the predecessor of today's United Nations... isn't it coincidental that within a few short years America and the world go through a devastating economic depression and the future President Franklin D. Roosevelt institutes the Social Security Administration among "other" governmental agencies that begin to "socialize" or "communize" the United States? American's everywhere desperate to end the depression cling to these new social programs that not only begin to erode American rights but go so far as to issue a "number" or Social Security number for the express purpose of tracking every American's income from the time they are able to work until they are dead... Crafty... aren't they?!

Redistribution of wealth or communism
"Habeas Corpus, literally in Latin "you have the body" is a term that represents an important right granted to individuals in America. Basically, a writ of habeas corpus is a judicial mandate requiring that a prisoner be brought before the court to determine whether the government has the right to continue detaining them. The individual being held or their representative can petition the court for such a writ.
According to Article One of the Constitution, the right to a writ of habeas corpus can only be suspended "in cases of rebellion or invasion the public safety." Habeas corpus was suspended during the Civil War and Reconstruction, in parts of South Carolina during the fight against the Ku Klux Klan, and during the War on Terror."
The borders of the United States will no longer exist in a few years combining the U.S. with Canada and Mexico. Mexican president Vicente Fox has already stated on Larry King that this is the ultimate aim that he, President George W. Bush and the the Canadian Prime Minister agreed to before Dubya left office. this is why Bush was against any type of wall going up to control the influx of illegal aliens. This is also the aim of NAFTA. NAFTA will place all three nations on the same economic playing field when the U.S. agrees to move to a one world currency. Americans need to wake up. For the first time in U.S. history American troops from the 3rd Infantry brigade have been given orders to patrol U.S. streets with arms, tanks, helicopters and aircraft in the event of martial law. What would it take for martial law to be declared? Another terrorist attack, a natural disaster, or civil unrest. Once martial law is declared U.S. soldiers will have orders to shoot anyone that disobeys martial law... no trial necessary. PEOPLE IT IS TIME TO WAKE UP! Even writing this could be seen as treasonous making me an enemy of the state. Communism didn't die when the Berlin Wall came down... it went to sleep for a little while. It is back, and it is in the disguise of social justice. It is a wolf in sheep's clothing. I guess if I'm wrong then we can all sleep soundly for the rest of our lives... but if I'm right, then the oppression of a boot stamping on the human face forever is not far off.

Do you live a fullfilled life...?
All of us have been born this way... it drives a Donald Trump to continue to build bigger and more elaborate buildings... a politician to seek higher office, and a captain of industry to seek more money... it propels men who are already wealthy beyond measure to steal from those less fortunate and a drug dealer to sell to children, or a pornographer to exploit women and children for money... the sad news is that we will never... ever... find fulfillment. We lack one thing... GOD!
If God is love... if God is happiness and He is the very center of these things... which He claims to be, and that His Son Jesus Christ is the center of that center... then rationally speaking we must start with Him to find what it is that completes us... namely... HIM and His Chosen One... JESUS! If we seek Him with all our heart.. we will find Him... once we find Him, we find fulfillment. just a thought...

Government Prepping "Clergy Response Teams"
The Posse Comitatus Act is a United States federal law (18 U.S.C. § 1385) passed on June 18, 1878, after the end of Reconstruction, with the intention (in concert with the Insurrection Act of 1807) of substantially limiting the powers of the federal government to use the military for law enforcement. The Act prohibits most members of the federal uniformed services (today the Army, Air Force, and State National Guard forces when such are called into federal service) from exercising nominally state law enforcement, police, or peace officer powers that maintain "law and order" on non-federal property (states and their counties and municipal divisions) within the United States.
The statute generally prohibits federal military personnel and units of the National Guard under federal authority from acting in a law enforcement capacity within the United States, except where expressly authorized by the Constitution or Congress. The Coast Guard is exempt from the Act during peacetime...
...The original Posse Comitatus Act referred essentially to the United States Army. The Air Force was added in 1956 and the Navy and the Marine Corps have been included by a regulation of the Department of Defense. The United States Coast Guard, when acting in its peacetime capacity (originally as part of the Treasury Department, later the Department of Transportation, and now within the Department of Homeland Security), is not included in the Act. However, if in wartime, a portion of the Coast Guard were subsumed within the Department of the Navy, as it was during World War II, that portion would lose its federal police power authority and responsibility over the federal law enforcement duties of its civilian mission. This law is often relied upon to prevent the Department of Defense from interfering in domestic law enforcement.

2 Timothy 3:1-2
2For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
ok... so these two verses give specific characteristics of what people will be like in the last days. We know the verse is referring to the last days because it specifically says "in the last days difficult times will come" So are we in difficult times? Are these times any more difficult than the times of the past? The answer in my estimation to both of these questions is YES. Yes, we are in the most difficult times in world history. You may be saying "How are these times more difficult that the Great Depression, World War II, the Black Plague, Communist Russia, Nazi persecution of the Jews, or any number of other difficult 'times'?" The simple answer is... these times only effected regions of the world and had specific beginnings and specific endings. However, these current times are progressively getting worse and have no end in sight. For example, the world is going through climate change. Whether this climate change is global warming or global cooling it is definitely global and the changes cannot be stopped by any effort of man. The effects of these global climate changes will effect all the earth and all who dwell on the earth. Some of these climatic changes have been cataclysmic... Hurricane Katrina, massive earthquakes, mudslides, tsunamis, and massive fires in areas not known to have fires in the past (ex. Florida). The loss of life and property in these events are staggering compared to times past.
Let's look at the world pandemic situation for a moment... We are currently undergoing a H1N1 virus (swine flu) alert that has the entire world panicked while it prepares for massive outbreaks of flu this season. The world has also been braced for H5N1 avian influenza (bird flu) that has a 50% mortality rate. If these two super-flu virus' combined they would create a virus that would be devastating to the entire planet, and we haven't even looked at the HIV/AIDS virus that has plagued the world for the last 30 years.
How about the world financial situation...? The standard by which the world measures its currency is against the U.S. dollar. Currently the U.S. dollar is extremely weak. The American economy is the worst its been in decades and there is no short or long term solution to bring the U.S. out of its current depression. Unemployment is at a national all time high, and the government is now in the business of buying out corporations to bail them out of certain failure. This includes the banking system. As I write this I am still currently on unemployment after being laid off of my job in July 2008 and there are zero job prospects in my field, especially in the area in which I live. World leaders in Russia, France, and China have called on the United States to create a world currency in the same manner as the Euro was created. The mindset is that a one world currency would be stronger than the U.S. dollar currently is. Although the United States and Barack Obama in particular have said they would not entertain any ideas of a one world currency, it is being very carefully examined as a remedy to the current decline of the American dollar.
How about Islamo-fascist terrorism? Certainly this is felt on a global scale and effects every person on the planet. Since 9/11 the world has faced the possibility of radical Muslims attacking ruthlessly in the name of Allah. The U.S. military has been engaged on two fronts combating terrorism and the nations that support terrorist. Whether you agree or disagree with the U.S. policy is not the issue here, only that the lone world super-power is engaged militarily, and politically in a global issue.
So, we've looked at a few things that support the current time as the last days spoken of in the first verse. I will leave you with the words spoken by our Lord from Matthew 24:4-14...
"4And Jesus answered and said to them, "See to it that no one misleads you.
5"For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will mislead many.
6"You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end.
7"For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes.
8"But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.
9"Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name.
10"At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another.
11"Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many.
12"Because lawlessness is increased, most people's love will grow cold.
13"But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.
14"This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come."
We will look at verse 2 tomorrow...
2 Timothy 3
2 Timothy 3
1But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
2For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,
4treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.
6For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses,
7always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, rejected in regard to the faith.
9But they will not make further progress; for their folly will be obvious to all, just as Jannes's and Jambres's folly was also.
10Now you followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, perseverance,
11persecutions, and sufferings, such as happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium and at Lystra; what persecutions I endured, and out of them all the Lord rescued me!
12Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
13But evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.
